So Sad About Us Demo ⇢

Pete Townshend - So Sad About Us (Demo)

I was super pissed when I realized that most of the tracks off the five-disc Townshend demos collection I just downloaded were already available on the Scoop discs. That being said, there’s still something nice about hearing only Pete and a guitar here.

Happy Birthday Keith John Moon. <3

I was never a fan of drummers, or drums, or anything that includes drums. But when my friend introduced me The Who, I was reeeeaally curious so I listened to their music, watched their vids, and downloaded their movies. The first time I saw Pete, John, Keith and Roger, this one hot guy caught my eyes and I was like “whoa this guy is hot” then I got interested into drums, I took drum lessons, downloaded isolated drums of any The Who song, and I downloaded every Keith Moon picture I see in the internet to make it as my laptop and cellphone wallpaper.

It’s just sad that Keith Moon was gone so early. I just hope he stayed for a long time, and for me to have chances to meet him. :( I just wanna meet him so bad. But I know you’re happy now there, Mr. Moonie.

You’ve been my idol (well except about using drugs, smokes, etc. lol) when it comes to drums. I love you and I wish I could see you in person. A lot of people are great to have you. You’re my man, Keith. You’ll always be. Happy birthday, we miss you a lot! <3

Hi there :)  I just saw that picture of Chris Stamp and Pete Townshend on my dashboard and it prompted me to share this:  I went to the advance screening of the “Amazing Journey” documentary in New York City and while me and my mum were waiting outside for the doors to open, we heard a male, British voice behind us ask quietly, “do you think we can go in?” to his female partner who responded “of course we can!”.  I knew I knew that voice, so I turned around slowly and BASICALLY PEED MY PANTS.  It was Chris Stamp!!!  He moved forward a bit so he was right next to me (his coat sleeve touched mine ahh), and I looked up at him and I was so utterly lost for words I just awkwardly stared at him and went “….hi…”.  My mum had to step in and tell him that I was a huge Who fan, etc etc.  The doors opened, we went in, and I immediately started crying because I was so overwhelmed.  I wish so hard that I had gotten a picture…I was so starstruck though.

Sorry that was WAAY tl;dr but I just wanted to share my story with other Who fans :)
